I know, it sounds rather blunt and to some extent harsh especially if you have allowed yourself to get far off from what makes you content. Have you left behind joy and are unsure how to turn back? Do you need a map back to where your passion rests? If so, you are not alone. Many have abandoned their peace of mind for what they were told they were expected to do. But today, we live in an age where knowledge is as close as a keystroke and the sky is the limit when it comes to innovation.
With so many possibilities in the world, what are you marking your time for? How might you find your passion? I’ll start with some essentials. Passion represents a powerful sentiment, motivation or desire for something. Generated in the chakras, it is where ideas go through incubation to be delivered into the world. Let’s see if we can get you closer to your passion: What recurring ideas for projects keep coming to you? What pursuits or subjects really move you? What could you not live without? What is your ideal life? If money were not a point in question, what would you do for a living? What makes you content and satisfied? What could you do for work that would really be like a hobby? What abilities do you have that you take pleasure in?
When you are out of alignment with what inspires you, stress can result. This is where balancing your chakras and acu points can aid you. Acupuncture and chakra meditation are excellent tools for relieving the physical manifestations associated with mind-body issues. Great for easing the body and going into a reflective frame of mind to get definite on your ambitions, the meditative state induced by this practice is very enlightening in helping you realize where exactly you want to be.
As many of us know, acupuncture is widely used today as a practical treatment alternative for many dysfunctions. As a matter of fact, its clinical application has proven effective for thousands of years. As we continue into the 21st Century, it remains apparent that we could benefit considerably from avenues of healing which may broaden our conscious awareness, as well as treating our “physical” health.
So today we are going to be looking at the correlation between the chakras and the acu points. And the idea here is that each major chakra has a relationship with a physical body as an acu point. It can also be said that every acu point on the body surface represents a kind of mini chakra. They relate to various aspects of our physical body as well as our emotional, mental, and spiritual widening. The chakras tune in to the right channel for specific physical organs, they usher the energy and store it in the extraordinary meridian acu points, and the extraordinary meridians provide it in usable forms to the meridians as needed. In that way, each part of the physical body gets the specific instructions it needs to do its job perfectly. By balancing our chakras and acu points, we can address many health issues including depression, pain, sexual dysfunction, and insomnia.
In more than one way, physical aspects of the major chakras represent powerful meridian acu points. And by using these acu points of Chinese medicine we can then influence the flow of chi within the body which then triggers other aspects of the chakra systems.
For some of you, these ideas may seem complex, and rightfully so. Not many are used to this terminology or these concepts when discussing health. But for those who have dwelled on these ideas and who are interested in developing oneself further balancing chakras and acu points is a style of practice that could suit you. In fact, the treatments are much more effective when done with those who have a regular meditation practice. Begin with the perception that we, as humans, are a model of the universe. If one grasps this interconnection, then these treatments may be regarded as truly invaluable.
And of course the idea here is through understanding the qualities of the individual seven main chakras and by stimulating the acu points within the chakras there is also an initiation of the Nadis system throughout the body. The Nadis are literally our information bond to the galaxies. People are in a state of endless communication to and fro with the universe through the Nadis and actually, each person is essentially the same as the universe. They are more like whirlpools in water. The illusion is that they have entirely independent existence, but they are really made of the same stuff as the water. In the same way, we are all made from the same stuff as the cosmos. From a modern physics frame of reference, at this subtle level, people are endlessly interchanging sub-atomic particles with each other, the world, and the universe. Simply put, the Nadis represent a further extension of the fine energy pathways that make up the human body and it is said that there are about 50,000 energetic centers or Nadis within the body.
The human energy field can be looked upon as an incredibly sophisticated information processing network and provides a fabric for an energetic theory that welds together the human aura, the chakras, and the meridian acu points.
So now, let’s look at some of the interrelationships between the chakra system and the meridian acu points.
